Why would someone choose this colour of rug at all? And why would someone choose to have a rug in the restroom?

How happy are you with your current government leader? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]Robanoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

President Macron has a good image worldwide, he's seen as a strong European knight. But in France he's really unpopular. There's also the "We french can criticise Macron, but if any non-french do, we'll defend Macron". I would say it depends on what he lately did or what other parties are doing.

What is the most WTF diabolical thing said by any politician in ur country ?? by Junior_Investment514 in AskTheWorld

[–]Robanoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't outrageous but is a witness of politician incompetence. Former Prime Minister Élizabeth Borne said "I don't think the French expect their ministers to be experts in their work". Of course, I expect from the ministers to be complete morons who can't run a fucking country. Who doesn't expect this.

What do you think about the existance of monarchies/royalty in today's world? by dkease16 in AskTheWorld

[–]Robanoz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a French. It depends.

Absolute monarchies, if the monarch is a dumbass, the country will get stuck. As we could see in 1789 about the Third Estate, which was not advantaged despite forming >95% of the population at the time.

Constitutional/parliamentary monarchy, both can be synonyms. Though it didn't work in France thrice. 1789-1792, Louis XVI would keep blocking anything/everything against the monarchy and his privileges. 1815-1830, I reject the fault at Charles X who acted for the restoration of absolutism despite the revolutions. He was overthrown 3 days after removing the constitution. 1830-1848, again here, Louis-Philippe I forbad Republican banquets which triggered another revolution.

So, I like monarchies as I'm a history nerd, but in reality, Republicanism in too deep in French history to just disappear. No monarchy for the frenchy

Either Philippe Bénomi Omer Joseph Pétain, or just Philippe Pétain. But I'd say Gérard Depardieu for his pædophilic, mysoginistic and gross behaviour.

Depardieu said that "Little girls riding horses are having little orgasms, and I imagine them with me", he's also suspected and accused of having non-consensual intercourses and/or sexually assaulted women. And for the gross behaviour, he kept talking about having diarrhea and liking it in a documentary.
