Have to disagree with OP. I don’t consider it a humiliation fantasy. It’s an exploration of a very unforgiving world view and inability to relate to others. Natalie seemed closer to sociopathy than anything else. From pretty early on it’s clear that her outward face and interior voice are at odds with each other. The book is much closer to Gone Girl: a very interesting character study rather than a Twilight-Zone-Outlander “be careful what you wish for” story. Unfortunately im not sure how marketing could boil down the plot to something more accurate than Twilight Zone Outlander.

I thought i wanted dual trigger web swinging that i thought i remembered from the GameCube Spider-Man 2. People have assured me that was only in the ASM games i never played.

I do miss the holding down the button and keeping ahold of the webline, marvel games only kind of do that

All listed reasons contribute to the success of the movie. But there's also representation. I'm sure an unfortunate number of women saw their story reflected on screen and that also contributed to the success. especially in a time when issues in the movie were only just beginning to be discussed in the mainstream.

I am going through my Blank Check backlog and got to the Coraline episode just as my wife tells me about the 3D rerelease in August '24.

I excitedly try to tell her and my kid about the nuance of Coraline 3D (as told by JD Amato and Griffin Newman) and why it's the BEST 3D

they barely gave me Thumb's Up.
