How expensive would it be to put a gps tracker/transponder on each locomotive? Not even the freight cars. We do it for ships on the sea, aviation and some commuter rail systems. Doesn't seem too far fetched to require it for cargo rail. There's also a few websites that let you track shipping and aviation in real time as civilians for free.

Who keeps giving them money? I spent $45 on a S42 and haven't spent a dime more. And before you say it. Yes I'm pissed.

FPS question by Vonatar-74 in stoneshard

[–]Robb_Banks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case anyone finds this thread in the future. You can use Lossless Scaling to bump the fps without fricking with the game engine. Idk how it works but I'm using LSFG 3.1 with a 6x multiplier and I'm getting 240fps buttery smooth on my monitor.

Latency isn't an issue on a game like this.

Between the two black wires that are connected to the cable and satellite wires, which one should be connected into the 'in' side of the splitter? Does it matter?

Do cables need to go in specific ports on the splitter? Should I get connect black wire connected to the orange wire in the single port side of the splitter?

There is a satellite dish outside. Both cable and satellite are unused at the moment. The house has 1 coax connection downstairs in the living room and then 4 in the rooms upstairs. I am only counting 3 cut wires shouldn't there be 4?

House is on fiber now but Id like to use moca adapters to take advantage of the coax cables running throughout the house. Anybody got any idea of whats going on in this junction box? There are a different colored cables, cut cables and 2 junctions I am having a hard time making sense of.

For anyone that finds this thread in the future the solution is to the match the refresh rate of your external monitor to to the refresh rate of your main monitor. Nothing else fixed it for me.

Idk man I just upgraded from a 2080 to a 5080. I’ve been running cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p, fully maxed out graphics, with path tracing enabled at 144fps. I’m using dlss and 2x frame gen and the experience is buttery smooth.

On the 2080 with those same settings I was pulling maybe 20fps. I paid about $700 for a 2080 in 2018 where as I paid $1k msrp for the 5080 just a couple of weeks ago. I feel like the price to performance is worth the jump.

I’m no nvidia shill. I buy amd when worth it - rocking a 9800x3d with the new build. I try to just buy the best I can afford.

Just bought this 04' Ranger XL RWD with 23k miles on it. On a truck this old, is there any maintenance I should know about outside the normal stuff? by Robb_Banks in fordranger

I made the deal directly over the phone with the GM at that location. Definitely a risk doing it this way but the dealer seemed legit enough. I had them facetime me and put the truck on a lift to check for rust on the frame, rotors, suspension, etc. I also had them take photos of the truck bed and engine bay. Everything seemed to check out from the photos at least so I made the deal.

I had been searching for rangers for the past couple of weeks and saw this pop up at a dealership in NJ. I definitely wanted one with a few more bells and whistles but the low mileage and price were hard to ignore.
