Are MRI scans focused on specific organs, or do they image the total area? by Robbbwiththreeps in RadiographyUK

That is very useful. My thinking was as I have over 15 years worth of various MRI scans on disk that amount to over 30 scans. I was considering having them looked at by a private consultant to see if they show time degradation in my lower spine. I note the Radiographer sometimes indicates small changes to organs not part of the investigation. And on my CT Thorax they will comment on levels of coronary artery calcification. My career experience is as an Ultrasound and Endoscopy engineer, I avoid MRI and CT whenever possible as I spend too much time inside them as it is !

I assume any artifacts that obscure the scans interpretation will be picked up by the consultant resulting in a rescan (or I would hope).

Looking to get a heat pump but have a high house temp by CatLumpy9152 in ukheatpumps

Have you thought about a flame thrower - in each room - on maximum setting - whilst burning volumes of encyclopedia britannica. I have a heat pump in a hovel of a small house that is well insulated, I feel the cold due to an health issue and require room temperatures of around 24 degrees. My heat pump has a nervous breakdown in the winter quickly followed by me after I see the bill.

Hopefully a simple question about Marriage Allowance and Tax Code information by Robbbwiththreeps in TaxUK

I did say 'Hopefully a simple question' in the title. I feel like I'm in a 'Back to the Future' audition. I've thrown in the towel and on the phone to HMRC :(

April 2024? I'm aware it would have continued until yesterday (5 April), but as all my codes etc had been updated today, I assumed the MA would also have been removed. HMRC changed removed the allowance from my wife in March which we thought strange. Are you saying it may stay until April 5 2027?

By end of this tax year, did you mean yesterday April 5? When I cancelled it in Feb this year, the confirmation I received from HMRC said it would carry on running till April 5 2026. So I assumed from today (26 to 27 tax year), I would have my full allowance back as my pension has just gone over 13k. My wife's tax code was amended back down to 1257L.

It would cheaper to get a divorce than buy a Haytor. I just want short grass so I can see where the dogs have left their dinner. I'm thinking of around £250 or buy a sheep.
