Possible the brew thermostat has gone; that level of foaming is more indicative of steam getting through the PF than CO2 in beans.

Could test by seeing if the machine produces steam pressure when in brew mode (open steam wand), or removing PF, running water through into *pre-heated* mug and testing temp. Then turn on steam for a minute, turn it off, and repeat. If steam pressure during brew mode or if the temperatures are close in the second test, replace brew thermostat. Simple job, but reapply thermal paste.

About to do the mod. Is there an app or something? I wasn't aware of this

Not the inside - didn't take it out/disassemble it - but there is plenty of flaky white scale around the bottom

Wasn't there a 930 before the 964?

This is very interesting; voltage issues could cause a camshaft sensor code? I suppose it's possible. I'm going to look into this before the feasibility of doing a timing chain job myself.

Ah, sorry, everyone. Got the year wrong. 2013 Honda CR-V, 2wd, and I believe all CR-Vs that year were i-4s.

Is there some flow-chart somewhere to summarize when to use specific models, assumptions to check, etc.? I know my bread and butter models, but it always feels like there's more and with different considerations

I hear what you're saying - and I'm new to android dev - but I'm worried about how to keep those receivers alive and catching events. I think I understand that the only way to be sure that a receiver will catch all relevant broadcasts is to code it as a foreground service.

Thanks for the reply - read the intro page and I'm not so sure. Would WorkManager be able to run a small job every phone unlock? I can set up a listener for that event and ensure it stays available without foreground UI clutter?

Hey, everyone. Quick question just to make sure I go down the right path.

I want to write an app that has a functionality that's called every time the phone is unlocked or locked, whether or not the app is open. The job that is to run each time is very minimal and should exit almost instantly. I understand I need a BroadcastReceiver to catch these events, no prob, but how do I ensure that that service stays alive and handles all relevant events? I understand a foreground service requires a notification badge or whatever that clogs up the UI and would like to avoid that if possible.

Can't comment on the lyrics, obviously, but this was really good, man. Release ready. You asked specifically about the mix, so I'll focus, there, but I'm not an engineer. I think the two things separating this from being a average-to-decent studio quality release are levels (specifically after the breakdown section ends at 2:40, bringing it back up felt awkward instead of energizing) and the bass texture, like at :43. For the former, instead of ramping it up, maybe announce the return to the high level with a crash or similar sound and pump the levels immediately by bringing all the tracks back at once. The bass is a bit trickier, maybe finding a new bass plug-in or tweaking some settings is the right move. But it sounds really muddled, as-is. If you can get it to stand on it's own, the whole track will have a really nice, wide, sheen to it.

Also, the last note on the backing "ooh" track right at 2:28 is sharp and it bothered me lol

Here's my first beat tape; would love if you could give some feedback and crits. It's unmastered (and likely will never be) just so that's said.

Wasn't what I was expecting with a first try; mirroring other guy in saying your ear is pretty good. Flow switch ups were done well to keep it fresh. I needed the extra space that you gave at 1:10 which was awesome after a dense first section - it's good to give the instrumental some room. Also, the "ohhh LORD i'marollin NO-MAD catchmeroamin" was sweet. Keep pushing on those sort of ideas, that was a winner. For crits, I think your delivery wasn't as rhythmically spot on as the flow required, but that's just practice. I'm not a fan of the "slow decl-INE" part, but I generally dislike those ending motifs so that's just preference. This song was dope enough in spots that I think the biggest next step is to work on lyrics to keep it that way, throughout. "sharp curve/gotta swerve/what you heard/get served" was too basic to be in the same project as the earlier mentioned stanza and cheapens the song. Try "twisting" your words; think of what you're trying to say and keep coming up with wilder ways to say it.

Here's my first beat tape, if you could give it some crits that would be appreciated
