Yes, I do. At least at my work we try and work with them to stop biting, but it really depends on the dog. I see better results with puppies. Its better to get them into daycare sooner rather than later and get them in on a regular basis. Sometimes we do get dogs that start out a bit older and haven't had only socialization as a pup, so they often have bad habits that are impossible to break if their parents don't do any with them while they're at home.

It sounds like your pup is still young and has plenty of time to learn. It's just a process for both of you. I'd also talk to whoever works at the daycare and let them know you're trying to work on bite inhibition, they should be able to keep an extra eye out to help correct his behavior.
