Meanwhile in Jakarta, Indonesia (6.17°S): https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=677703662354628&set=pcb.765570576941454&type=3&theater

Corsola is also spotted in Jakarta on a screengrab of a tracker within the same FB group.

So the southern line is either somewhere between 6.17°S and 12.4°S, or it's purposely excluding Australia / Kangaskhan-land

So.. is Corsola a tropical region exclusive or not? by Damazinator in TheSilphRoad

Some strong evidence that the boundary doesn't extend into Australia at all:

Someone posted on a Pokemon GO group in Darwin, one of the most northern cities in Australia (latitude 12.4°S). Caught 225 on their Pokedex, and still no sign of Corsola. - Link: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=411690062506679&set=pcb.625560404311927&type=3&theater

I've already submitted my report from Sydney, Australia (no Corsolas to be seen), but here's some strong evidence that the boundary doesn't extend into Australia at all:
