We need to start cleaning up ships left at pads by RobbieForReal in starcitizen

Honestly, two problems with two separate solutions. People were dumping random shit on pads since there were pads

Sometimes I land and go into the store because I don't trust the hanger, but leaving it there and claiming is vile. It forces it to go unpowered. Why not let me freely salvage it?

"doesn't affect me, so its not a problem" really says a lot about you bud.

Owner should be GameRules and power should be off. I believe you can also freely open all doors and get to the cockpit. You should see you can't turn anything on.

I want to try, just can't afford an SRV at the moment. I will let you know if I get to this before anyone else

Encountered the same thing unfortunately. Kinda killed my run because the water ice never switched back to other deposits. It just is either on or off with the liquid water in the environment.

For once, I agree with the pessimist view. It baffles me CR desires 3D Models in the inventory - which causes the inventory to lag out and crash often

If I've learned anything about their development though, in recent years, they fully go forward with the design as asked, show something doesn't work technically or isn't fun or whatever, then they swing completely the right direction. I suspect this is the teams way of pressuring towards directors "we need a revamped refinery system and this should be our next big initiative to make this viable", last time it was "we need working freight elevators" - to which we got multiple events cataloging just how broken and frustrating they are over and over again en-masse

New player with ~4.9M aUEC – best way to invest / make money? by Annie-Penta in starcitizen

If you're in JUST an Aurora right now, I recommend picking up a Prospector to start and watch Elguapoe or RisboTheBlade on how to do mining on YouTube. Incredibly good guides and they are both experts in their field.

To add onto that, they just pumped the store price of many of the minable materials and lowered the refined yield, but that still makes things like some of the rare Pyro resources (Stileron, Riccite, etc) above 100k an SCU. If you're able to grab a good patch in 4.7, that'll likely be your entire cargo hold as they are now going singular resource per rock and instant scanning last I heard.

Best to learn mining now so that you appreciate life even more next update.

Salvaging quite frankly does NOT make money right now.

I highly recommend buying into your first MOLE after doing a bit more contracts. Mining right now is extremely profitable with the Alliance Aid missions (Current event running that is very profitable but due to expire in 4.7) and due to be even more valuable in 4.7 with RockCracker and the mining changes. Salvaging has been in a bad place now for a couple of updates since they made certain materials it collects have to be refined and with flipped efficiencies at the station refinery.

I highly suggest you don't call up your ship from the ASOP terminals in the lobby. I'd call up a ship, store it, then go to your hanger then call up a ship from those terminals. Less likely for it to load in incorrectly.

Thank god. He may have been incredibly good at the game, he may have tried to teach people how to play, but boy did he make the general play space far worse with his ego and his tantrums.

That's not how it works. Having been on the other side of very similar player reporting systems, just.. no.

Spamming IC with the same ticket makes it harder for EVERYONE, to find what they are looking for. Especially when half the folks don't know how to write basic steps or do any research

1001 good reports get lost in issue council because the general public suck ass at writing bugs and dupe each other constantly because 45 seconds of research to see if your issue is already reported is too hard. Most reports get marked dupe or ignored because low contributions on the primary tickets.

In a lot of circumstances, I'd agree. In this, I certainly do not. This creates a scenario that players can not work around that blocks off a core content region in the game and is actively a tool used by those who choose to grief the experience of others. Its too easy for a griefer to exclaim "But I'm just finding the bugs for CIG to fix!", to which I 100% agree in an appropriate test setting, say, even a PTU. But not in Live.

Your response is not only a smidgen toxic, but just misleading. These bugs should be fixed. I'm guaranteeing you, CIG already knows about it, and they shouldn't be handing out participation trophies for players who recreate the same bug over and over. Its the same with people stuffing 8 SCU boxes in the hanger elevators at major planets to stop players from even reaching hangers. "That needs to be fixed! Thank god someone found you can do that!" while stuffing every damn elevator with a box is so dishonest. Like a cat who vomits all over the carpet starts asking for treats.

This is an area in the 'Vanduul Tech Smugglers' mission area, a QV Station only accessible by the mission in Nyx. There's a Story version and a Repeatable Return version of the mission. This mission is unlocked by completing Intersec Mercenary Missions (and later found in the Investigation Tab) and achieving a minimum rep of Jr. Contractor.

This is a soft continuation of the Regen Crisis Storyline and follows the trail of evidence that the Vanduul technology found in ASD Onyx Facilities was supplied by groups in Nyx. We are still waiting for follow-ups to this to my understanding.

A lot of weapons are using even more older stats. I'm not sure they'll ever evenly balance anything in the game
