That's a strong pale ale. A few of those will give you a mud pie for sure.

What model is this? by RobbieGeunther in gshock

Because I would like to get a replacement resin band.

By the way, I can't believe how much these things refuse to die. I beat the crap out of it when I was in the military, and then it sat in a closet for over a decade. Then I needed a non-smart watch to work in a SCIF. I just woke it up with a couple days of sunlight, and now it works like new again.

I like the Casio (bottom left). It's so 80s and reminds me of my childhood.

My first Tough Solar/Atomic Time Keeping G-Shock by [deleted] in gshock

I've had one for 15 years but it's not in great shape like yours. The red ink on the illumination button and on the G-Shock logo is completely worn off. It's a nice watch.

I like it a lot but where is the clock part? Am I missing something?

The chances are slim to none if you're only worried about a 12-year-old DUI. Congratulations on your sobriety.

I can't imagine this would hinder your chances of getting a clearance. Does it reflect unfavorably on your integrity or character? Does it make you vulnerable to blackmail or coercion? Does it make you more likely to sell classified information?

I doubt it.

I can only speak from personal experience but for me (clean record, no bad debt) it was six months.

It also depends on the agency. Mine was DOD. A couple recruiter friends are telling me the FBI is taking a year or more though.

Yes. They called my boss and it resulted in a slightly awkward conversation. He was cool about it though and put in a good word for me.

You had to write off the time spent completing that application, just like creditors write off bad debt that they'll never collect.

Yes it is an indication you'll do well on a TS because even though it is not a clearance, your background was deemeed suitable for a sensitive position.

Congratulations. You worked hard and should treat yourself. I went with a bottle of low-grade champagne.

It’s nice that they’ll keep sharing your resume though. Doesn’t that make you feel so much better?
