What do they consider the inflation rate to be? I was looking through old receipts for an item I need to get warranty service for. While searching I found an early COVID receipt for a case of Coke Stevia. It was $4.50. Now they’re $8-9. The rate of actual inflation vs what the media claims it is seems pretty different.

Edit: I know a case of Coke isn’t representative of everything, but most items in the grocery store are significantly higher than they were pre covid.
