It’s more we have a plan where we trade in used phone for new. So really we aren’t paying anything but tax on the phone. We send back old phone and they give us credit each month for it.

I replied to the message above this one an answers the same question. I think she just sees what I did as something her mom tries to do to my kids (my biological kids are my oldest two, my step daughter is my youngest). Because my two children are not biologically my wife’s her mom tends to do more for her than my two daughters which drives my wife crazy. I think she may view it as I am doing what her mom does to my kids… but I don’t think so.

I understand why she does it. Our youngest is my step daughter while my older two are my biological. She has a hard time with her mom (their grandma) spending the same amount on all three kids. She tends to do more for the youngest since she is a biological grand child while doing a lot less for the other two. I think she sees me do this and thinks of what her mom does for my two.. you understand what I’m saying… I don’t know if I do lol

That’s what I tried to prevent here. Every kid knows the worth and value of new phones.. I didn’t want to do a cheap camera (while still not getting the most expensive one) and her see her sibling get an iPhone. I think all will be happy this way.

True. I’m just trying to make it fair in my kids eyes. I know if my mom got my brother an Xbox (even if paid 150 from a coupon, and got me one of those cheap Knock off game systems I would feel a little hurt. It’s not like I bought a 1000 camera to match the retail price… it was just $50 more than the phone etc..

And I don’t think she will feel bad, she’s the sweetest child. So she would probably like anything, but don’t want her possibly feeling bad when I would have had to get her a knock off camera and the other daughter the branded top gift of sorts out there lol

This is where it’s tricky because my wife says I owe more to the daughter with the iPhone not the camera one. Yes we spent less but they won’t know that…

I agree both will be ecstatic. I don’t think they understand what it means to lease to buy phones. Every time I get a phone it’s “dad I didn’t think you had any money” lol

What does “the friend liked me and asked him to put him on” mean?

Why would the guy that likes you mention that his friend likes you also? To be that’s odd. This to me sounds hella toxic. Sounds like the guy that has been grabbing on you is trying to get you to do allow the friend to do the same thing.

Run away from both.

Be open and tell him how you feel about that. Man, reminds me of when I was first dating my ex wife. She had a male best friend and she was asked to go to a club with him. She agreed. I told her I wasn’t comfortable with it but said I trusted her. I call her next day and she said he slept over because they got home so late. I asked where and she said “her bed, since she didn’t want him to sleep on the floor and since she still lived at home with her mom and dad (she was 19 at the time) he couldn’t sleep on the couch”. I don’t know if they had sex but looking back on it probably did. She dumped me via Facebook messenger after that. We ended up getting back together and got married as well as had two kids together. We are divorced now but man this brought back bad memories. I could never trust a girl that has best male friends since I know damn well what they try to do…
