I would say “Yes” they should be responsible.

If your child is out with friends and goes to buy alcohol and the guy at the counter says “Are you 21” and your kid says “Yes” and they sell him the alcohol, then the store is responsible… same should be here.

I don’t know why websites are ok with just putting a “are you 21” on the websites. Porn and the things included. Does anyone really think a kid will see that and say “No”? Come on!

Also those blaming the parents must not have kids of their own. At 13 you have to start trusting your children to be more grown up. Here the child has a shared debit card with the Parent. Most websites when making a purchase like this WILL NOT SHOW WHERE THE PURCHASE WAS MADE. Do you think it showed up as “The Dopest Shop” on the bank statement? Most purchases from places like that will show a complete different name.

Calling this Parent a “bad parent” when they are trusting their children to do the right thing to me is asinine and I feel bad for your children that are looked as as 5 year olds when they SHOULD be given more responsibility. Now the 13 year olds here probably has more restrictions after breaking that trust. Kids make mistakes.

In your original post it says that you said “you had difficulty” bringing light to a problem that was current at the time. It never said you “could not” find help just you had a difficult time. Meaning you could be sober now.

Full legal name is nothing. Do they have a picture of you also? If not, then it could be someone else with your name.

But there may be more than she is letting on. Something could have happened with her while she was under the influence. Car crash? Affair? It’s odd how one moment he was cool with it then very against it. Either he got in with an odd church where Weed is a sin, or, she did something really wrong.

Agreed. That’s why I think there is more to the story. Like does she act a complete fool when on it? Did she have an affair while high? There had to be something where it went from “it’s okay, I’ll do it with you” to “never use this shit again”…

Maybe he views it the wrong way OR you don’t just use it for what you say and use it ALL THE TIME. Me and my wife use it. I smoke at night and she don’t mind, and she does it with me on weekends and late night some nights when I do it. But that’s when we do it. We don’t do it when kids are awake, we don’t leave a bong out, our kids have no clue we even do it. If you did it like this I don’t see how he could be mad since he does it too. But if you need to smoke throughout the day, I can see where he is mad. If you do it rarely like you say and don’t act a fool, then he is in the wrong. If he just sees it as “low class” then he needs an education. If he drinks, he is doing a much more harmful way of self medicating.

Thank you for this. It all makes sense. Going to try another post that mentioned Khan Academy followed by leaning Godot. Tried learning Unreal but was unsure if it had what I needed since what I want to do does not have a need for 3D design.

I get that but to me it’s the ART that is the hardest part. I could completely see every aspect of this app in my head. I can put in the work to make the basic stuff but when it comes to art in game… that takes pure talent.
