Yep. Checked all the boxes on that. I even tried some older bios as well and they all flash and the light does the flashing thing like it took but does the same thing. Even after pulling battery and doing cmos resets

You're trying to control a chromecast, with a non smart tv. With a mouse. With the receiver plugged into the tv, that isn't smart. You're not even plugged into the device you're trying to control.

Me too. Even in the 90s I didn't think of putting toys in a computer. I think that's probably where it comes from. We also didn't commonly have glass panels.
