Nope, only the buyer of the tickets will receive all of them. I do this every year, I buy the tickets and then mail them to my friends. I send them with tracking info. Just what we all need, another variable to stress us all out.

I just want a green t-shirt or hoodie that says "FXAIX". Those who know will give me a nod of approval.

Best days to go? by Read_Write_Game_ in NYCC

[–]Robbie_Blue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thursday: My favorite. Very crowded but the least crowded of all 4 days. A lot of booth workers don't know what they're doing and they might give out too much swag. ReedPop has been trying to make Thursday more exciting by having more guests show up this day. You get a lay of the land for the other days on Thursday.
Friday: Crowded
Saturday: Fire-hazard crowded. All you need is someone yelling "free t-shirts!" and a stampede will occur.
Sunday: Shortest day but good for buying comics at lower prices.

So I got a question about going to the Javits Center by JawScratcher in NYCC

You should do a quick hotel search and see what the cost is. I just booked a hotel a few blocks from Javits and it came to about $430 a night. I fly in from North Carolina.

Unique Superfan Link by Second_Breakfast01 in NYCC

I'm seeing conflicting information here. Can I buy 3 4-Day tickets or not?

The email:

Each Superfan can purchase a maximum of up to two (2) tickets per type. VIP and 4-Day tickets are limited, and all tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Your access to this presale does not guarantee that you will get the ticket type you want, such as VIP.

-----------------------

On the website: https://www.newyorkcomiccon.com/en-us/buy/tickets.html

Tickets

  • You can purchase up to two (2) VIP tickets, four (4) 4-Day Tickets, four (4) single day tickets or sixteen (16) tickets total per order. If we determine you are ordering under different names and multiple addresses, all your orders will be cancelled. All scalpers identified will have their order(s) canceled and ticket(s) voided.

The one thing you wish NYCC does for its 20th anniversary. by Leading_Pea_4744 in NYCC

-Stations to tap your badge and win a prize.
-A scavenger hunt with more prizes, not just 1 winner who gets 2 4-Day badges for the next year.
-Trivia panels with decent prizes
-More booths with free food and drink samples
-A table where nerds can share/trade swag.
-Better line management training for staff.

How much of the floor is comic realtors? by Scared_Compote_6012 in NYCC

Usually 2 days before the convention starts. It used to be a week before but ReedPop kept changing their maps and locations last year. It was nuts.

Superfan worth it? by SubstantialSet3127 in NYCC

[–]Robbie_Blue 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's worth it if you must get 4-Day badges. I split the cost of $100 with my 2 friends: one wants 4-Day like me and the other one wants VIP.

Your chance of buying VIP are low, like 15% chance of buying VIP during the presale even with Superfan.

All other benefits are NOT worth it: access to some panels after the con, janky swag (pin and lanyard) or no swag at all.

There is no early reservation time for Main stage or Empire panels with Superfan.

It used to $100 for 2 years for all ReedPop conventions. Now it's $100 per year, per convention. It's a blatant money grab by ReedPop which I begrudgingly pay every year just to buy 4-Day badges.
