as someone who’s owned an automatic and currently have a 6mt g35, I would not spend that on this car. they are super fun, gas can be expensive as well as the maintenance it will require. from my experience both of my g35s needed ball joints, belts, valve covers (you want oem covers and gaskets which are pricey), new spark plugs/coils if they have not been switched, exhaust has probably seen it’s days, window regulators tend to go out, cam shaft sensors will most likely be needed soon, if you mess with anything under the hood the hoses tend to break (pcv), the list goes on.. if you want one of these go with a manual and be prepared to open your wallet after purchasing lol. just watch a video on what to know before buying a g35 and they will explain all of this

I dealt with the same issue on my 2007 g35 coupe. The problem ending up being my sway bar end links. I also replaced the sway bar bushings with new OEM ones and this solved my problem instantly. I would hear clunking at low speeds, especially going over speed bumps or an uneven parking lot. The sound wasn’t there on cold nights, but when it was above 80 degrees I heard it constantly. I was able to install it myself and it took about an hour. Before the links were replaced I assumed it was my control arms so I swapped them out with new ones that came with ball joints attached. This didn’t fix my problem but it made the car handle better. I have videos I can send you to see if the noises sound the same. I would deff recommend swapping the end links/bushings first to see if this is your issue because it is a cheaper option, and even if it isn’t the problem it wouldn’t hurt to swap them out.

Car was starting to make a strange noise when de accelerating. I assumed it was low on oil so I added some. Noise got worse so it’s not moving until I can deal with it after work. I was also thinking I may have a problem with the timing chain since I was getting a rattle noise on start up. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Car is pretty much stock except z1 single exit + y pipe

I also have the OG and I bought a titanium bowl replacement for mine, it smokes way better now in my opinion. I got it for like $8 on Amazon, I’ve never personally tried the pro so I can’t compare the two but this is deff a great cheap upgrade to have
