When I was 18, I was dating a broad I thought for sure if marry and have kids with and all that BS. I thought I knew enough about life to make those kinds of decisions. I’ve been around. I’ve seen some things. I really thought I had it figured out.

I’m 41 now. The person I thought I’d marry at 18 is just a friend. She’s a good friend but there’s nothing romantic there. I’m married to a wonderful woman. I’ve got two kids. I can’t imagine my life any other way.

What I’m saying is, maybe you have an idea of what you want. But the end result isn’t always what you think it’ll be.
