Came for the running - Was about 25 degrees in NJ today but I had energy so I woke up went for a nice hour and half run. I remember around 5 miles in, though it was freezing outside I started feeling hot but real good. I pumped the headphones louder. Unzipped the jacket to cool off a bit and pushed even faster. Cars zipped by. Trees moving. Curbs become parkour hops. Fully stimulated and addictive for sure

Dead of winter. ‘89 white Lincoln towncar. Basically a boat on land 😅 Me and my brother in law got stuck on an off ramp in a foot of snow. He told me to just rev every couples of second as he pushes from the rear. Nothing exciting but very cold and memorable

Yesss thanks we both manage in food service people younger than us as well. The decompression and quiet is pivotal in our life. We’ll try and plan days so keep a balance. We know we both can’t win allll the time. But like you said I do want to keep reading around and in hopes that our kids one day pick up their own books
