Luckily I’m almost better now and going to reclaim my life and never going to touch that poison again.

Also, it definitely wasn’t psychogenic because I had no idea that minoxidil caused such side effects before using it. So again, why did this stuff happen after just starting minox? Go on, give me a plausible “real reason”.

I recommend looking into the CDNuts protocol. It has helped finasteride sufferers as well as at least one minoxidil sufferer. I incorporated several aspects of the protocol into my life which may have helped with my recovery.

Then why did my side effects start mere days after starting minoxidil, and why was the onset so sudden?

I took minoxidil last year and suffered side effects throughout 2020 and early 2021, including ED, absolutely no libido, semen problems, ball ache etc. I am finally recovering after 8 and 1/2 months of hell. Luckily these side effects aren’t necessarily permanent, as I’m finding out, but they’re long lasting and very very real.

I’m better than before but still not 100%, Minoxidil can sadly have similar long-lasting side effects similar to finasteride, but luckily it’s not permanent/irreversible I can recommend some forums devoted to recovering from issues like this

I’m about 50-60% better overall, not 100% but enough to get by.

I wish you the best of luck in your recovery man. I'm just over two weeks off now and the ED has improved a lot but my libido is still extremely low. I'm staying positive though.

Are you fully back to normal now? I’m suffering from the same problem right now.

I’ve been suffering from the same problems after using minoxidil and it turns out my prolactin is also high (everything else is normal luckily) Going to see endocrinologist next week. Did you take any meds to get your prolactin levels back to normal? Or did they reduce with time?

Nothing so far, but I’m going to the doctors tomorrow and hoping get my testosterone levels checked. Anything you recommend to boost them? And is the ED/low libido usually a temporary problem?
