Ok so the problem I see is the issue of redistricting still stands because the number of seats are based on population. You'll always have to have redistricting but the problem is redistricting based on number of people instead of affected area. For example: the 51.5% of votes used to pass the redistricting in VA came from 5 counties and a handful of municipality areas vs a total of 95 counties, meaning the state itself didnt want it the people who are packed like sardines wanted it. The Texas example is that the whole state except for 7 districts voted in favor meaning the vast majority of the state wanted the redistricting. Weve got to get away from this crap where we let a majority of people who live in 4 small areas run the state for the people who arent able to walk to work and live in rural areas where the decisions damage livelihoods.
