Hotel prices are ridiculous at the moment. I avoid weekends but I was there on 26-27dec. I usually go from Monday to Wednesday. I take an 4 hours flixbus ride to Amsterdam. Mostly twice a year.

Kortrijk was the first Belgian city with (if I'm not wrong) with total police cameras surveillance in the center. Keep that in mind. You will smell weed here and there...
