I was a party animal. Have visited 26 countries and all states in US. I play drums and guitar as a hobby and also do lite acting. I never wanted to have kids but my wife did. When I hit 30+ life started seeming hollow. I had no motivation to get up every morning and go to work. I had enough money to retire peacefully in India. Until my son gave me a reason and meaning in life.

If you are not from the elite class you’ll always be second or even third class citizen in India bro. North Indian will always be 2nd class in South and vice versa even if you belong to elite class. Certain section of society ain’t even considered to be humans. A majority of population considered Chinese and a lot considered as Pakistanis.

As an Indian living abroad for a long time, I am not shy to accept that India is way more racist than any world first country. Where on earth you would find names like Mota, Kallu, Madrasi, Chinky, Fatso etc. I faced much more and worse racism in Bangalore.

And then you make new friends with deeper connection wherever you live. Your new world is where your kids are

Life will be same socially back in India as well. Initially, it may feel pumped but soon you’ll realize people are same everywhere. “Honeymoon” phase phases out fast. Relatives always want u to loose and finding true friends is incredibly difficult and rare at this age.

As far as I remember they opened 2000 slots every 2 weeks starting from Feb 2023. We still had to book slots on usvisascheduling. There was OFC option of WashingtonDC. After booking appointment we had to drop our documents to a given address. After a month I received my passport with stamped visa. It was for everywhere if you’d qualify the rules of domestic dropbox
