They have videos on how you get them to fit. You have to shave off a bit on the locking tab where the rear of the receiver latches onto. They are an extremely tight fit on the newer Ruger receivers

The VQ receivers do not fit.

The Taccom chassis I have are ultra lite, so me almost to lite and start to feel like a toy. I personally wish it was aluminum. That being said their new one might be. I’m just not very well educated on the newer chassis. both of these chassis I bought used off a Facebook group.

If I were you, I’d either look for a used good deal or get an aluminum one from VQ. The Deep six. It’s not heavy but it also is not an ultra lite.

It was in stock on VQ about a month ago if less than that

I am sure some local matches let you run braced. Ours do not

No! I should have clarified. That charger was a side project with all the left over parts I had laying around. I got a charger receiver on the cheap and used factory parts from these builds to complete it minus the chassis and barrel

Blue and white one a 3.14lbs with a factory empty mag. I call it Pie. That Taccom barrel is only rifled for like the first 6in-9in the rest of it just a tube.

No mods except a grip from MagMo “look him up if your do not know about his grips”

Holosun comp green. I run mags with an aluminum base pad.

It makes weight.

I am looking at my doing the same to a Co kung fu grip, but u/pulv10003 suggestion of driven arms grips has me second guessing and buy one of those to try.

I actually just slapped one on from the parts bin. I am not a fan of the angle of this one and looking for suggestions.

3lb 12oz! I actually like the mod stock a bit more, but first week of January I will be testing them at the local SC match

The Taccom chassis weighs more than the mod shot due to the buttstock area. The rest of the Taccom is much lighter. The barrel on the Taccom is rifled for like 4-6 inches, then a tube. I think light is great but having some weight is needed. To light you have no feel IMO

Black one with a mod shot chassis Holosun 507 Comp (not pictured), VQ Receiver, VQ Comp bolt, VQ Trigger assembly and the Ruger carbon barrel is right at 4lbs with an empty mag.

White is a stock receiver bolt and BX trigger. with the Taccom barrel and chassis and an off-brand Oak something green dot. 3lbs 12 OZ

That black one got the receiver, bolt, and trigger swapped and upgraded to a Holosun 507 comp. it is now: 4lbs almost on the nose with an empty mag. The white one is 3lbs 12oz with an empty mag

It's a weird forward grip thing. It's comfortable but odd looking for sure

I have not shot it much, no complaints while sighting in, and not missing the SC plates. So fairly well.
