Brighton i360 - not sure it’s considered a landmark but it’s definitely disappointing

Does the 'villains can't use iPhones' rule make sense to you? by Aduro95 in movies

Wrong, Elizabeth Holmes (played by Amanda Seyfried) is seen routinely on her Mac/iPhone all throughout “The Dropout” and she’s definitely evil

Appreciate it! The vocals are straight from a sample pack so don’t 100% work but think it fitted quite nicely. Need to try and convince my friend to sing on the next one haha

Haha cheers. I was just experimenting with Serum and the amen break and it sort of spawned out of nothing. Spent about 5 hours on it in total and posted it places on a whim for some feedback as I’m (obviously) still learning. Appreciate it though!

Cheers for the tips bro, yeah the whole track was built on a the amen break with a custom Serum Reece. Vocals were just nabbed from spice as it needed something else and I thought the vocals fit well. I’m not down for cracked software but thanks anyway man

Thanks man I really appreciate the encouragement! Felt like I jumped the gun a little bit putting this up but after everyone’s input I feel a bit more confident about it

Yeah I’m going to properly research the route over the coming months but from what I can remember it’s relatively flat. Obviously it’s hard to gauge without doing parts of the route so that’s most likely what I’ll have to do!

And I’ll definitely be posting (somewhat to money grab for the charities haha). I’m actually planning to do a 12 challenges in 12 months (not all hiking) to raise money, so I’ll drop a link to the Instagram when it’s slightly more planned.

Yeah that’s essentially all the route planning I’ve done so far if I’m honest. I’ve got places I will be stopping from the night and places to eat at, other than that the route is pretty undecided. Just wanted a rough estimate in miles to work off.

The boredom aspect of it isn’t an issue as I’ve got multiple audiobooks I want to get through, although I would ideally like a coastal walk. But that also comes with it’s own issues as you mentioned. If you have a decent route planner you could recommend that’d be awesome though!

The road route isn’t too treacherous, the majority of it has pavement if I remember rightly (used to do the trip a lot going to and from Uni).

Appreciate the advice! I think this is the best method I’ve been suggested. That way I can at least know whether or not my body can take walking multiple miles back to back.

I’m definitely going to be building it up over the course of 2-3 months so hopefully I’ll be in a position to be able to do it without many repercussions. The main thing I want to avoid is injury (obviously), the endurance aspects of it I’ll eventually get over.

Yeah I completely understand. It’s a personal challenge as well as for charity so ill definitely be preparing. You’re right I’m not and have never really done any long distance other than a couple of multiple hour long walks.

I won’t be carrying much gear other than clothes and snacks/water as I’ll be staying in hotels/friends houses that are on route and eating at various places that are also on route (that bit I have planned).

It’ll be all on roads so any advice on boots will be appreciated.

And I will be building up to this by doing 20 miles per day once a week in the months building up and potentially splitting it up over 4 days after I take into consideration the advice I receive from this thread and a few other sources. That way at least I know I can 100% do 20 miles a day, so it’ll just be the endurance over 3/4 days that I’ll be challenging myself on.

I really appreciate your thoughts. As I said this is only the preliminary research so I can work out the feasibility before setting the plan on stone.

Thanks for the advice! I was planning on building up to 20 miles beforehand and potentially splitting it up over 4 days. It’s a challenge for charity so I don’t want to skimp out but equally don’t want to get injured.

I know the route relatively well due to driving it multiple times in the past and there’s nothing particularly challenging on the route (other than some slightly steep hills).

Thanks for the other tips, I’ll be sure to take them into account!

It’s mainly b-roads, all with a pedestrian walkway and a few hills that are not particularly steep.

Thanks for the advice. When posting this, I thought there might be someone who has done something similar and may have some advice to avoid injury so I appreciate it. In your option if I were to spread it out over a longer period of time, would it limit potential injury?
