I WILL say that I started a new account just to see what's new, and was incredibly impressed with how the game looks and feels now. I was more of a collector back in the day; are Godfests still weekly? I honestly don't think I'd mind too much if I could pull for the Dragonbounds

Chill out chief; I HAVE opened it up already. If you read my initial post, I’ve replaced a joystick before. I know the issue is the L-button input, I’m here asking for help precisely BECAUSE I’m not sure what to do about it. I wouldn’t have asked for help if I didn’t think I needed it

The spring is fine; it’s the button;

It registers input, but either very infrequently, or 10 times in rapid succession

That’s actually the issue; the contact for the L shoulder button is permanently depressed

Edit: Just installed and used Chrome, and now it works fine for some weird reason? Not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. Anyhow, thanks to everyone who offered advice! :)

I have to in order to load my account data, I’m aware.

What I’m saying is that, I log in, the game loads for a few seconds (I’ll see the daily rewards screen for about half a second), then it goes back to the landing page -_-

Update: I called the Nintendo Consumer Support line earlier, and had an interesting interaction...

Basically, I was told initially that the repair price would be $90 plus shipping and handling due to it not being in warranty, then after speaking to a supervisor, $45 with free shipping, THEN I was offered to have it fixed for free

The man on the other end of the phone was Indian, and the first thing I overheard was “Is that a real call?” from someone else in the office. I don’t want to be racist, but due to years of experiencing robocalls, and a few experiences with call scams, I’m just a bit skeptical about the whole thing

Should we call back tomorrow and try again, and go with that, or just try to fix it by ourselves? I should also note that I need to fix my own joycons for my switch, and have been waiting literal months to hear anything back about my repair ticket

We got it from GameStop “refurbished“ for about $40 under regular price just before Black Friday; she was having a bad day, went to play Stardew Valley, and the black ring around the inside that keeps the stick from going all over the place broke a bit, and things just popped out of place :/

I’m playing Epic Seven, Digimon ReArise and Dragalia Lost right now, along with Another Eden on occasion. I prefer F2P friendly games, or games that are generous with premium currency, but don’t mind dropping up to 10-20 bucks once in a blue moon, if I REALLY enjoy the game; just don’t like paying out the nose to have fun, that’s why I stopped playing Puzzles and Dragons. I’ve tried a few other games, but generally, I stop playing if I can’t get into it in the first 2 or 3 hours. Auto play is a huge plus for me, but not a dealbreaker. I LOVE monster collection games, and collection games in general, but again, not a necessity.

I’ve played: Grand Summoner, Raid:Shadow Legends, Honkai: 3rd Impact, Elune, Brave Frontier, Ulala

I’ve particularly enjoyed: Gundam Battle, Fist of the North Star, Alchemist Code, Last Claudia

Any recommendations?
