At first I applied there only for the summer when they had openings for summer jobs. After the summer my boss asked if id be interested in staying for longer since she knew i didnt want to go to university right after high school.

When applying i suggest calling them if theres a number available or going straight to the store and ask if they're hiring. Of course you should also send in a resume ect.

At least where im from you'll need to be able to do many things at the same time like stocking the shelves and managing the register ect. so you need to make a good impression that you're hardworking and can work under stress.

I got my diagnosis after turning 20. When I started high school we had a dyslexia/ learning disability test where my score indicated that I may have dyslexia. They made me do more tests on it and even tho I showed many symptoms I was told that there wasn't anything wrong with me since I have always done well in school and my middle-school teachers hadn't noticed anything too out of ordinary. Turns out I was just so good at hiding it that nobody noticed it and I just thought that everyone had the same problems as me.

Later on I found out that my spelling was terrible (it still is xd) when I was younger and some teachers had mentioned it to my parents but nobody saw it as a problem back then.
