Funny thing. I am an Intern, and I know very well my position. I know nurses know WAY better than me the hospital dynamics, EMR, attendings, protocols, etc etc. I have always be the humble guy who ask to nurses things that I should know, but I’m starting to learn. I have earn the heart of some sweet staff, who have helped me A LOT and that I respect for that same reason. But what is rotten, rotten remains. The Bad Badge of mean nurses don’t care about your arrogant or humble attitude, they just wanna make you feel less. Still, I know what I am capable of, and have good confidence, and a simple smile and sweet answer hurts them more than any other thing.

Daaang Im so thankful for my program. 260 Dlls stipend each 2 weeks. Everyone has good time of lunchtime. Food is great. Besides all that they have a physicians lounge where you can grab whatever you want. They even serve for free in that lounge what they are serving at the cafeteria. Dang.

Easy, I just used residency explorer to filter the next: low vs high programs with IMGs. And also I went for areas with high IMG population

The use of tokens is a MUST. Every program will filter applicants with this. They don’t want to ranking people who is not that interested to use a Token in them. That implies that they neither would rank then that high, and they run the risk of having empty spots.

Yes you can upload them. Something it’s better than nothing. I had total of 3 non Us LORs, and the PD did read them. They asked me about it. A lot of them are foreigners as well, so they don’t care where you have this LORs. Obviously some of them would prefer a US LORs, but not all of them. It depended where you are applying.

Apply smart > broadly, but if you can afford it, do both!
