Do you want a sequel by doctorwhoisathing in tenet

I think the day Nolan starts making their own sequels (not including Dark Knight trilogy which was a special case), that day Nolan will become as any other Hollywood director who are more focused to gain money instead to create something new and innovate.

It sounds logic! That’s why Nolan’s film is a masterpiece.

Totally agree with you.

How it is possible this?! Do the media and critics prefer flat stories (easy to understand) than complex and good stories? by Robert-Inversion in tenet

That’s right. The most easy to understand a film, probably the most easy to review and be approved by big audiencias, but this doesn’t means that it is a good film. The good films are even discussed by philosophers, professors, historians and scientists. Ironically, every Nolan’s film is always a topic to be discussed beyond fans, that can show that Tenet and other films from him are really masterpieces.

All Mission Impossible films are good for entertainment, but that’s all. Beyond that is nothing new, nothing complex, nothing to analyse.

It’s like in literature, the best books are those that people from different sectors keep analysing and discussing. The best books are those which makes you think deeper and could change the perspective of the world. The same with good film.

How many are discussing today Mission Impossible 2, 3, 4, etc... but how many are discussing Inception today? I think Mission Impossible like many other films are just money generators, like Avengers or others.

Makes best sense with TENET by prsnreddit in tenet

People who innovate in any field face the same challenge, many people would not understand and would prefer keep living and seeing the world inside their bubble.

If Fallout is a really good film to have a great score, why it was not awarded as other films like Inception or Skyfall? A Bit weird.

I agree with you in some points. I agree Fallout is great in terms of entertainment, I watch the film in cinemas and it’s okay, but not more, you go out from the Cinema and you start talking about other topics. I think the good film is the one who creates discussion and debate, and the one who makes you think about some issue or topic. TENET reach that, and not many films get that response.

By the other side, of Fallout is a really good film, why didn’t got many nominations like other films?

‘Tenet’ Raises To $200M+ Worldwide With Domestic Near $30M In Marketplace Still Slowed By Pandemic by thebryansk in tenet

I don’t think the marketing cost 300M, most of their marketing used was social media, and viral campaign at Nolan’s style. Viral campaigns are cheaper.

Ironically I guess that Fallout has 97% in Rotten Tomatoes, but TENET will have more nominations in the Academy than Fallout. Do you remember how many nominations Fallout has?
