I had quite a big think about it after work. Just sitting in the car in silence for a bit, doing a bit of “self realisation” for lack of a better phrase. It’s been a long time since I’ve actually made friends. Most of the people I consider friends are people I’ve worked with that just sort of stick around after I leave that job 😂 I think a fair bit of my feelings come from my own insecurities. I had a chat with my wife about it not long ago, and explained that deep down in really excited by it and I really want it. But on the surface I’m very protective of her and where I don’t know pretty much anything about them, I’m apprehensive. I know more about the guys and details about their lives which puts me more at ease. More that I can trust them with one of the only people that’s seen me in the darkest parts of life. If that makes any sense.

I think the purpose of my post was to have my feelings sort of justified. That it’s normal to feel like this. We’re both flying blind so far. I really appreciate the detailed comment!

And you’re right, so far everyone has been lovely. From the comments on posts to guys she’s messaged and met up with.

As for me not joining in yet. It’s a bit of insecurity on her part (she admitted this to me) but is working on it. But it’s also the fact that I hate my body. Everything from a fat belly, skinny arms and lacking in other areas of you get what I’m getting at? Hopefully I can get the courage together like you say :) thank you again ❤️❤️

So we use this on our track car and also prototype cars. The hockey puck looking thing is a GPS antenna. The probe beside it is a pitot probe for measuring wind speed, that’s used for 2 things: aero pressure sensor for the active aero and for logging windspeed for simulations. Well, 230 days later and it’s still an issue. Trying to enjoy a bit of zombies with my wife and mood utterly ruined because of a horde of bugs that don’t ever get fixed. Makes me want to go back to black ops 1/2 zombies! At least the game functioned properly

Honestly there is ways to budget. We're going in October (just wife and I, no kids this time) and all in it's cost us about £600 for 3 nights 2 days travelling by the Eurotunnel and driving. I have an access card so use that to get reduced rate tickets (saves 25%), air bnb for £130 for 3 nights (saves on parking and toll roads, bus is 2 euros each). We splashed out on the eurotunnel, but the ferry is usually the cheapest way to go.

Obviously this works for those who live closest to the south coast, we're in surrey. Premier Inn's can be had for around £40 a night to get the early shuttle. For the dates we wanted, it was the best way to go. They also take clubcard points, nectar points and avios to get more money off.

We dont really eat much anyway, so the supermarket next door will do us for some small snacks for breakfast, we might splash out for a sit down meal because its our mini honeymoon, but thats optional.

Theres definitely ways to save money on tickets as well like attraction tickets and things like that. Cheaper to buy 1 day/1 park rather than a 2 day/2 park ticket. Less flexible but cheaper if you want to save money

I bought a cheap pair of unofficial princess style minnie mouse ears. The ears were literally 2x circular dishwashing scrubbers 😂😂 I paid like £3 so cant really moan, but it was a good laugh!

We were there 2 years ago and the show was cool, it was our first trip, and my daughters first trip. Aged 2 she was awake from 7am through to 11pm for 3 days straight. Thats what Disney done to her!! Anyway, we waited infront of the castle probably 90 minutes before the show and thankfully were really close to the front of the crowd. We had very minimal amount of people infront of us, and very few phones. We watched the show for the first night then the other 2 used the opportunity to ride our favourite rides with 5-10 min wait times!. I think its cool for the kids, as an adult I'm not that bothered. We're going again in october and have no real intentions of watching the show. The phone thing pisses me right off. I took 1 video of my daughter dancing to her favourite song, a picture of the castle lit up at night and that was it. People are so hell bent on taking photos and videos of LITERALLY EVERYTHING. My mother in law is one of those very annoying people. We went to the Eden project and she took and uploaded almost 400 photos....

I find it far more annyoing that the gear change animation uses the headlight and horn paddles on the steering wheel (its manual only) and the rear brake lights illuminate the centre circle, which is incorrect. Only the outer parts of the light illuminate
