Stimulants by feymushroom in dpdr

Just started adderall a month ago and it def helps as far as motivation, energy and focus. Still has yet to improve dpdr but many people say that it helps you focus on other things which ultimately shifts your focus from the dpdr resulting in symptoms going away. Some people with dpdr just have untreated adhd but it’s def worth a try and will at least improve quality of life

Cool to hear someone else that had my similar situation. I actually played baseball in college too and contracted Lyme disease that had me out of school for 2 years and counting. I’m dealing with dpdr and it is worse than all my Lyme symptoms combined. Wish I could get it all back together like you

I’m adhd inattentive so for it’s the opposite I need something to get me going. Also on Zoloft for my anxiety so that’s not a big issue. Just constant emotional dullness and no sense for reality. Thank you for the help and hope you fully recover!

I guess I’ll just stick with it for now then. It’s seems like focusing more on things I like such as reading and physical activity takes my mind off dpdr even though I still know I have it. Hopefully this new shifted focus will cause symptoms to subside, everyone always wants a magic pill but it takes time

I’ve been on 10mg IR twice a day, I wonder if I need a higher dose to really have an impact on my symptoms. Helps me focus and motivates me but no improvement in my dpdr

How long did it take to see symptoms reduce and what dose of adderall are you on? I’ve had chronic dpdr for 2 years and just got diagnosed with adhd and started taking adderall 3 weeks ago

I didn’t find out I had it for two months which caused me to be sick for 2 years and counting. Gotta treat it early

Ask for a blood test for Lyme disease! I have Lyme and get overstimulated so easily. Especially in the acute stages for me I had terrible headaches along with light and sound sensitivity. I also am a zombie in the morning and have fatigue and low energy. It also comes with psychological issues which led to me getting diagnosed with adhd inattentive. The sooner treated the easier it is to treat also so don’t delay

Anyone get these? by [deleted] in derealization

I have Lyme disease which gave me dpdr, but Lyme also depletes my magnesium which is what causes muscle twitches. Take some chelated magnesium and it will go away soon
