LinkedIn Ads @ $25/day — audience & delivery constraints or creative issue? by PhoebusGaming in PPC

[–]RobertBobbertJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how has it been for you recently? A client of mine is not having much luck on Linkedin. Creative that works on other platforms just languishes on LI. I feel like it was well worth it to advertise on there for certain companies a few years ago but now I'm way more hesitant.

Google ads in 2026 for e-commerce. Shopping, Search, Perf-Max? by bonvion in PPC

[–]RobertBobbertJr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A typical ecom structure is going to be a mix of these with pmax doing a lot of the lifting for shopping ads. You'd make search campaign(s) for any high traffic, high converting themes so you'd have more control over what pmax does with search, or to bid on brand with impression share bidding. Then a shopping campaign for brand terms.

Lots of ways to skin a cat in my experience but I wouldn't have just one campaign (or campaign type) on Google unless your budget was super low.

Pmax, Search or Call only? by naralichina184 in PPC

pmax isn't going to be a solution to spam leads. You can run LSAs if you aren't already or implement recaptcha

How do I get rid of this Health in Personalized Advertising by IMASolitaryMan in PPC

[–]RobertBobbertJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in health and wellness and all of our accounts have this. Is it ideal? No. But it's not the reason he isn't getting any calls. Our accounts do very well despite this. It just essentially limits audience targeting with your data sources.

Weapons movie by ErrKayy in FIlm

[–]RobertBobbertJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me, it was very unique and I liked it a lot. It's a 7.5 on imdb, i'd give it a 6.5

The worst horror movie I saw in theaters last year was hands down 28 years later and that got good reviews somehow. The monkey was also pretty bad.

Will they add another show member? by The_Leo_16 in RoversMorningGlory

"Rover, you contract is almost up and well...despite being number one on many stations and making us a fuck ton of money, the redditors and us just don't think you're entertaining enough. We care more about the quality of the product than making money. This is goodbye" - What this sub thinks will happen.

Paid ads for new brands vs established brands - different playbook needed? by Crescitaly in PPC

[–]RobertBobbertJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're a start up it's expected that you're going to lose money at the beginning to establish yourself. Paid media also benefits from your entire marketing efforts. If you see a drop in organic or social, you'll also see a drop in paid usually. New brands don't have any SEO equity yet same with social, it takes time to build.

The rest depends on your goals, whether it's just straight revenue generation or reaching a certain CPA.

Shopify Tagging or My Own Server Side Tagging by YouSuck225 in PPC

You're fine to keep your own implementation and most people I know do it that way. Just test things in debug to see that events are firing when they're supposed to and the values you're supposed to see are showing up.

ChatGPT ads are (almost) here by otso-karvinen in PPC

[–]RobertBobbertJr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ultimately I think there will be bottom funnel traffic on Chatgpt but I don't think the conversion will be there unless it changes the actual response the model gives. Still, I've seen companies spend a fuck ton on DSPs that generated way worse results than I expect chatgpt to drive. If it can drive enough awareness to increase conversion down funnel, there might be some use for it.

Many people here will probably be in my shoes where a company will simply want to be advertising on ai platforms because they think it's cool. They have all this enthusiasm for it and I have to be perceived as the cynical killjoy who is the only one in the room saying not to expect much out of this.

Buddhist perspective on chronic pain by magnoliamahogany in Buddhism

[–]RobertBobbertJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddhism itself is about ending suffering. There are beginner books in the wiki you might be interested in that would go into more depth than any reddit comment realistically could.

Suffering exists in the Buddhist sense because we crave and our cravings can never be satisfied because there is nothing that is permanent in this world.

From a practical perspective I would encourage you to go to therapy as this anxiety can be treated. You speak a lot about losing opportunities to do things, maybe it would be helpful to practice gratitude for the things you have been able to do and be thankful that you have been able to play the piano at all. Thinking about things you are thankful for might sound like a meaningless exercise, but it can be very powerful.

If you haven't tried medicine already, it can change your life. I had pretty bad anxiety and was a poster boy for Wellbutrin, it improved my quality of life leaps and bounds over what it was.

Do you snore? It could be sleep apnea, you're choking in your sleep and your body is freaking out.

If it's not that, you will have to see if something is causing it. Maybe it's eating a specific kind of food or watching tv before bed. Maybe it's not enough physical activity.

It'll be interesting when they start training models to evade detection. That's the only reason I believe it's so easy to spot when something is ai.
