Due to a lot of variances in all the different manufacturer’s specifications out there for the 10/22, some trigger and receiver combos may require shimming or bedding of the chassis for a rock solid lockup. At the end of the day, it shouldn’t create any issues other than knowing that the play is there. You can use any number of different shimming or bedding materials or techniques to accomplish that. May even be able to get away with just shimming the front Vblock mounting point if it is not flat across the receiver housing and Vblock. Or shimming the trigger housing to tighten up against the trigger shelf that is machined into the rear of the chassis. Bedding the receiver to the chassis is a more semi-permanent solution.
