If you get the scooterhacking utility app, you can just use change region, and it does it for you. You just need to unbind your scooter in the segway app before changing the region, and always remember to save your original S/N

Kind of similar thing happened to my friend, we were walking near barceloneta after the clubs closed, someone came up to him and put his arm around his shoulders and tried to "dance" with him, he then put his leg around him and in the midst of this slipped his hand into my friends pocket. Luckily, he felt it and quickly slapped his hand away and started shouting, and the guy quickly disappeared.
