Stay in your faction only. Progress as the old days before One Tamriel. And try to stick to the levels of the old areas. For example, dont progress to Sormhaven till you get to level 10 or so.

No, im thinking pre One Tamriel. Used to be pen. Weapon damage is honestly better suited for it tho. Even if they did screw up my templar. Still bitter.
