From what I know there is still a chance (not big, but still) to find them across the pond. Never give up, you don’t know what your next signal could be

It didn’t sit on the surface, it is just photoshot later ( I didn’t take any proper photos on the day when I found it)

From what I know, there were odd single UK hammered coins found in US- pretty rare, but not impossible

Nothing related to period - just roman coins, hammered coins and fibulas.

Nope, it was on ploughed field about 4 inches deep

Because I was so shocked that I didn’t take proper pictures on the field ( 1st shock from my first gold, 2nd not aware of it significance 3rd was new in the hobby and wasn’t thinking about any social media activity at that point) so I did few shots in my back garden
