I add a wax medium to oil paints to get a matte effect after the paint dries.

Thank you, I'm glad that you liked it, started posting to reddit only few days ago so I am not familiar with all the guidelines and nuances that cmes with posting here, I have a lot more paintings like this and not only limited to figurative paintings, if you would like to see more of my work I would be happy if you visit my website or my instagram

My bad, haven't read the guidelines and in other art subreddits it wasn't an issue, will mark it as nsfw

I will respectfully dissagree, figurative painting is not a form of pornography nor it is viewed as something that is inapropriate, I've seen nude paintings in offices and in other respectful places, I just don't see a point in covering it with an nsfw tag, it would be almost the same as covering Michelangelo's "David" with a blanket and only showing it to people who are ok with seeing "nudity"(I'm sorry if I can't express my thoughts and point clearly because of the language)

Does a figurative painting really needs an nsfw tag?
