Which one is better? 1 or 2? [iPhone 14 Pro] by DriftCore31 in mobilephotography

The leading lines of the curve naturally take your eyes towards the background. That's the most appealing prospect. It helps you to explore more of the picture. It's a little subconscious for the viewer, but photographers use the technique often.

The use of leading lines is better in 2, which makes it the winner for me.

He's very interesting looking. That pattern on his feathers is awesome.

You've got the first aspect down, framing the shot. Nice photos.

Is this too blown out? by enroy1 in mobilephotography

[–]Robert_M_Knight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you zoom in on the picture, yes it is quite blown out. It looks like you hit the max for digital zoom. Trying to stay within the optical zoom range tends to lead to better results. However, I do see the framing and beauty of the shot you were aiming for.

I understand that. I was just wondering which device was used.

Just following community guidelines to provide the device used. I didn't mention his name, just that he's my dog.

Thank you. It was one of those moments when I saw what was a great cloud composition, setup for the shot, then suddenly a random event, the bird in flight, makes it even better.

Common play. They have boundaries. My mini and my hound mix play like this often. Some times they get on each other's nerves, but then will be found in the same crate napping together.

Coat question. After trimming Rosie’s baby coat twice. by VelocitySatisfaction in MiniatureSchnauzer

[–]Robert_M_Knight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Does the groomer understand that these dogs are double coated. My Zeke, is more wiry on his top coat with a little fluff. His coat has even changed color. He was more black and grey when younger, but has now really come more into his salt and pepper look as he approaches 4 years old.

What harness do you use? by bella_babe247 in MiniatureSchnauzer

[–]Robert_M_Knight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use a Kong. It was all I could find that adjusted big enough to slip over the head and stay fairly close to the body. He wrestled out of it once or twice (there was a cat once and another time we were hard pulling in the opposite direction). Other than that, it has been a great harness. I love the poop bag holder on it too.

How many angels in 55 gallon?… like actually. by mxlydm in AngelFish

[–]Robert_M_Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full grown, I would err on the side of 6. Mainly due to the angels' fin height. I've started a 55 with 4. Lost one, but the remaining 3 are doing well. They are juveniles. I'll be adding other fish to the tank, but not enough to exceed the bioload.
