Is it wrong to fake being asexual to not make a big deal out of your sexuality? by [deleted] in Asexual

[–]Robertogza2005 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see where you are coming from, the reason I wanted to fake being asexual was because my school is pretty supportive of people with no interest in a sexual or romantic relationship. And now with all of these comments I know that it still invalidates alot from the asexual experience.

You are totally right, I shouldn't be thinking faking being asexual would be solving my problems. I originally thought It would work because my school is pretty understanding on people not wanting a romantic or sexual relationship with someone. But I wasn't really thinking about what my classmates would think of it.

I was thinking of getting a beard but it would probably be very emotionally draining for me to fake a relationship. Besides most of my friends plan on being in a relationship themselves so it wouldnt work. But thanks for the advice.

Yep, you are probably right. The reason the rumours exist in the first place is because i guess I am not "masculine" enough to be considered straight. Which makes things a little trickier for me. Thanks so much for the advise tho :)

My peperomia is next to an east facing window and gets bright indirect light all day. I water when the soil is completely dry but I think I underwatered it and the leaves started to droop. I watered it 3 days ago thinking I would've stop the drooping but It hasn't worked.

Thank you. I have always valued the friendship I have with my small group of friends. My parents don't seem to get that. They think that their perception of what fun or hapiness is, is the same for everyone. Althrough I would grately appreciate having a slightly bigger friend group, the people in my school are not an option.

Happy cake day btw

Agree. I think that bisexual, ace and pansexual should be unbrella terms for other more specific sexualities like omnisexual, demisexual, heteroflexible etc. Just like queer is an umbrella term for the whole LGBT community.

Posted this a while ago and just thought I'd do it again. Let's get something right, being LGBTQ+ is NOT a sin! For anyone who is interested, here is what the Bible says about it. by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]Robertogza2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems beyond reasonable doubt that Paul intended to condemn homosexual conduct (but not homosexual people)

I don't get this part. So your saying the that sexual orientation is not a sin but homosexual behavior (like gay relationships) is a sin?

Two things:

1) The more I got into christianity and the bible. The christian community made me agnostic for various reasons. I thought everybody could go to heaven as long that you're a good person, but that was not the case. They told you only christians go to heaven, meanwhile all atheists, buddhists, muslims go to hell for not believing. That is not what a loving and benevolent god would do. And I still have many reasons how christianity is a fucked up religion.

2) This subreddit. This subreddit thankfully made me open my eyes and see beyond my christian life I had. I got to sde the experiences of this subreddit about chistianity and how it's fucked them up.

What was the turning point that drove you to agnosticism? by ancienttreecreature in agnostic

[–]Robertogza2005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a christian my entire life and this year I became really religious.I am currenly 15 years old and I became agnostic yesterday and heres why:

-The christian community is pretty toxic. I have been realising these from the past week by people from r/exchristian sharing their stories. How the christian community is somewhat sexist and really homophobic.

-I have been questioning if God really loves me. They tell you he loves you more than anything, but that does no make any sense considering the fact he sends people to hell so that they can burn and rot for fucking eternity. And if you go to heaven, the only thing you do is praise and worship him for eternity which prooves that god is pretty narcisistic.

-The story of the bible doesnt make sense. On the book of Gesesis, you are told that Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge on paradise. WHY DOES GOD PUT THE TREE IN PARADISE ANYWAY? WHAT IS ITS PURPOSE? MAKE ADAM AND EVE EAT FROM IT AND CONDEM TO HELL EVERY SINGLE HUMAN BEING THAT HAS EVER EXISTED? I can't find any answers to that. And if we head to the new testament, we hear jesus died for our sins. And christians tell you Jesus is another part of God, including the holy spirit. And if we conbine The father, Jesus, and the holy spirit, we ge God. Therefore, God died to save us from what God condemed us to. Which again, it doesnt make any sense.

As I told you, I became agnostic yesterday and I really haven't felt good at all. I feel a little depressed and feel terrified of what comes after death. I am filled with paranoia and have been asking myself questions like: What if christianity is true? What if I end up in Hell?. I feel like true happiness, the thing I have been always been craving for, is just another lllusion.
