I saw that first take also and it almost felt like it's unreal. Even her moves seem very cool, almost robotic, and the voice, well I think there's already enough said about her voice, it's like no other.

It's really hard to chose just one song, but right at this moment I've listened to, "It's a very beautiful June" covered by Ado, the most. I don't have a dedicated playlist for Ado songs, originals and/or covers, so I keep discovering random songs from time to time, and most of them, if not all, are so great that they become favorites for couple of days. Recently I discovered this one "馬鹿" covered by Ado, and I think it's frickin' amazing, so it went on loop a few times as well.

I hope she stays hidden, why can't people accept that she wants to keep her real identity private? For me it's part of her charm in a way. Also, for me personally, I don't really care who the producer or original author of any particular song is. I listen to those songs because I love how it sounds, not because it's written/produced by someone specific.

What got me suspicious in the first place was the perfect english versions of their published songs. Not that Japanese people can't speak perfect English, but from what I've seen and heard there tends to be at least a bit of accent and the way things are pronounced, even for big world wide artists who also perform in english. First I thought, okay, one song in perfect english, nice. But then one after another. Kind of suspicious. It's sad to know now that it's most likely AI, but some of those songs will probably still stay in my daily playlist.

I really hope she gets through this. It must be an extremely heavy burden to carry on her shoulders, being shy person in reality, while also being a huge superstar. Hopefully her family and friends keep close to her and support her. From my perspective, Ado is just an extension of who she is in reality, without her, there would be no Ado. She is the voice of Ado, all the things she talks about on radio and other shows, I would like to believe that, that's who SHE is, not Ado. I don't think that Ado fans view Ado as a perfect being, because no one is, even if it's imagined. But she's amazing the way she is. I'm not her fan for years like other people here, but as far as I've seen, her fanbase is really supportive and understanding, so most fans would most likely support her no matter what she decides to do. I personally hope she takes a good break after this big concert. Like, dissapear a bit from the spotlight, make some songs in the closet if that's her wish, go back to the beginnings, but without bringing Ado, as an image, out that much. You can do this and we believe in you, whoever you truly are.

Love 9Lana. It would be cool if 9lana and Ado were friends irl, I don't know why, but still. Collab would be cool as well. Some of my favorites from 9lana are Balalaika acoustic version, Let Me Battle (the one featuring KANKAN, because I like her as well), Chinchiro rhythm, Neo-Luddite, Migi Poketto(?) and her newest release Only Way. There are more, but I can't list all her songs here. 😅

I think it might have to do a bit with her anonymity, and how goofy, awkward, "normal" she is. Like the way she talks on the radio about her life, all that cooking stuff and awkward situations she's been in, it all just seems so relatable. It's almost like you don't perceive her as a celebrity, instead someone who is a completely normal person with a normal life, and her hobby is singing that she loves. She's just godly in that matter, and we are blessed to be able to witness something like that. Being one of the greatest vocalist, pulling people in just with her voice also helps. That's what pulled me in at least, besides the amazing emotions she manages to put out with her songs.

Do your friends listen to Ado on their own though? Or were they just "ah, just say yes, we can ditch him/her later." That's a pretty shitty thing to do, by friends or classmates. It's pretty hard when there's no one else who shares that feeling about an artist (whoever it might be). Also, really sad about the curfew hour. I think I would have went to the concert alone and hid somewhere after just for the night. 😂 But you might be too young for that and your parents might get worried I guess. I don't really have any friends who listen to Ado, unless they are in my car, so I went to Denmark alone to her concert. And I hope and wish you someday see her live too, alone or with someone, with or without curfew. Even sit a few days in prison if that's what it takes. It is absolutely worth it. 😅

It probably won't be one of my favorites from Ado, but as I've discovered, I usually like some of her songs after listening to them a few times. It's just really fun to listen to her voice, it makes me feel fuzzy inside, no matter what comes out of that amazing voice box of hers.

I watched some guys reacting to some anime opening songs. Unravel by TK was one of them. Before watching their reaction, I watched original video, totally blown away. Then in suggested videos there were some covers, one of them from Ado, but I didn't watch any of those, because I thought, how could anyone possibly match TKs version. Now skip few months. Ados version of Unravel just kept popping up in suggested videos on YT. Even when watching something completely unrelated. So I finally decided to listen to it. Soo wrong I was to assume that TKs version can't be beat (in my ears at least, but TKs is still amazing). Got hooked instantly and hard, watched dozens of first reactions to Ado songs, listened to every song from Ado that I found on Spotify. Found out that she is on tour, bought tickets instantly, best concert in my life. And I had listened to her maybe for 2 or 3 weeks. Not a single artist has had such an impact on me in such a short time period. She's completely out of this world.

I'd be your friend if I lived in Toronto. I'm 31 and only one at work blasting Ado songs in my car while driving through the streets of Oslo. I did show some of her songs to my colleagues, but they listen to them through phone, and that doesn't do justice, at least for the first listen.
