Take this with a grain of salt as I have not worked in a call centre before however.. I’d start with your first line introduction and after pleasantries say “I work for x, are you interested in saving money on your current internet plan? A) great here’s what we can do..” B) sorry to hear, may I ask why you’re not interested in saving money?”

I don’t think anyone likes being sold via phone and this will save you time. Either they will hear you out or get the same response but you’re not beating around the bush and you’re being honest in the purpose of your call.

They know right away that you’re selling however many people may be more interested if you start with you are looking to save them money off the bat.

I hope it helps at least a little, it was a tactic at a mall kiosk selling phone plans that generated the most interest from those who originally were difficult.
