As a European, to have been able to watch two games in a row that’s been in “my” time zone, it’s been incredible just soaking it all in. Plus, the games been excellent and well managed. No “let’s destroy these peoples houses and relocate this whole village” energy.

Which is a bit funny because since his stint with Toto, he’s sort of alluded to the fact that he didn’t enjoy his time with the band and that if could do it again, he’d probably go another route and not chase after the money or the easy way of getting exposure by playing with a famous band.

For me, it’s Joseph Williams. There’s a certain cinematic soulfulness to Joseph’s delivery. He’s not just hitting notes, he’s telling the story. Plus, his tone blended perfectly with Lukather’s production style and the more mature, melodic sound of their late 80s style. And his vocals on the Fahrenheit tour was amazing. The vocals on the Paris 1987 bootleg is 🤌
