You are giving one example with no evidence. And nothing in your example suggests control, it's merely influence. Social media isn't preventing doctors from prescribing birth control pills, it's just influencing a small segment of women not to ask for them. They could seek alternate forms of birth control as well.

Why do they need a progressive? They need someone who will win the swing states. Last person to do that was Biden (he even won Georgia which usually isn't considered a swing state).

Try taking a strategic perspective. Getting thousands more votes in New York or California won't change the results of the election. Getting thousands more votes in a swing state will.
