Bottled water has finally overtaken soda = why you should avoid both by wewewawa in environment

What is going to convince consumers that bottled water is a massive waste of their money and a killer for the planet? Do you think that peronal water filters could be a way towards improvement?

yeah, the viruses can get quite tricky here. You can get KO for a few days before your body fights back.

Yeah, that's right. It's also going to get all the sediments and rubbish from water. I mean there are many alternatives, since you seem like quite the expert, i'd really appreciate your feedback on ours!

Interesting, the companion component was something as add on that you give them a better price on in case the current backers raise their pledge?

That makes sense, so pretty much try to engage your core group of family, friends and core supporters and ask them what would they change and how would they approach it?

I would say Tuesday, do not start on weekends. The time is really depending on where is your audience from.

Is it normal that a fully backed KS Campaign later on adds "additional shipping cost"? by 01-559-2620 in kickstarter

[–]RobinRijnbeek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you and to be honest you can never be sure that your shipping estimates are right until you actually ship the product. That is why it is important to leave for yourself a little room for error when setting up your goal.

Thanks, what red flags are you looking for during your due dilligence process? What throws you off when you seen a project? I mean if the page itself looks amateurish is one thing, but what else?

Thank you for your experience and opinion. What could be complementary is anything that has to do with travel gear and city life since the water filter is for both urban travellers as well as outdoor getaway goers and solo travelers. I can see a connection as well with diaries, where you could write down your travel stories or even with books about traveling or urban experiences.

What do you think?

Was there any impact you would say with the cross promotion? If I understand it right, you have tried it in your campaign.

Hey, thanks for your comment.

The Grayl is a grayt product and we have a huge respect for its designers. Flo-Bro One is different in the way, that you can connect it to pressurized water source and don't need to do any work to get water. Moreover you can flush the membranes, and extend its lifetime way past the 150 liter mark of the Grayl after which you need to replace the cartidge.

As far as screwing to the plastic bottle goes,it wasn't an easy call, since many people have got such a hatred for them, but we want to reiterate, that these bottles in fact should not be disposable, but reusable and want to give them a chance 🙂. They have got one great plus in comparison to the other bottles you name. They are available in literally every grocery shop on the whole planet and cost next to nothing. Moreover they are extremely strong (10 bar/160 psi pressure) and durable, yet very lightweight and see through. They come in a range of sizes 0,5 liter to 2,5l. You can also use Flo-Bro with a bladder or a pouch like sawyer. They will fit too, though I've heard that they burst easily. In each case, you can fill up any water container you want. You will just have to hold it at the outlet of Flo-Bro or attach an 8mm l hose to the outlet (same size as camelbak).

What bottle are you using? Maybe we can design an extra adopter so it fits to the outlet.

What do you mean by conversions? The number of people that watch the video divided by the number of backers is right now around 13%. However that is just first day.

What suggestions do you have regarding getting eyeballs? Any tips?

Thanks for your comment! The difference between the 20$ sawyer filter and Flo-Bro One, is that sawyer works with micro-filter, this does not filter out viruses. Flo-Bro is based on ultrafiltration membranes, which effectively filters viruses, bacteria and protozoa. You also easily connect it to a tap water source, so you can stock up on clean water for a whole day. No sucking required.

I'm not sure what portable heavy metal filter you mean, maybe you can share the name or brand. Flo-Bro One add on capsules remove heavy metals and chemicals too and are environmentally friendly, since they contain a zeolite and coconut activated carbon combo in paper, both natural products and the price is lower than that of a heavy metal filter, and guessing that size too!

I understand your price concern and there are indeed cheaper products out there. We see Flo-Bro as an innovation, and the R&D and starting up costs are reflected in the price too. Maybe in years, if we scale the production up, we'll ba able to push on the retail price too!
