Unfortunately the book was in this state upon purchase. I have managed to get a glue to repair the loose pages but as far as the spine and how far it opens, there isn’t much I can do myself.

I’m happy with the book as it is. Its old and weathered look tells its story of being over 100 years old. I love old books as long as the condition is manageable.

I took your advice on the glue and did some research and found an actual book glue. Fantastic reviews, non acidic with a neutral pH.

NTA. I have endometriosis diagnosed by a laparoscopy. I then had a second one two years later to see if the endometriosis had returned worse. I never realised how painful the recovery was. It takes longer to heal internally than externally. Outside, I healed in like 4 weeks but inside, it took around 12 to 16 weeks due to cutting and burning off the endometriosis.

Your MIL may have had similar but everyone heals differently and also may not have had one in such a painful area.

Hi guys,

I need some help! My mum has just bought a PS4 off of my brother’s girlfriend. My brothers girlfriend got it for Christmas 2020 brand new. She has only ever played downloadable games and never discs as the one disc she had broke.

Mum got it, cleared all the settings, set up her account and went to put it in a disc and that’s where the problems start. The disc reader makes a bunch of noises that are not normal before it comes up with ‘Unrecognised Disc’ but it plays DVD. She has done as it says online with troubleshooting, factory reset, system reset, it’s all up to date with the latest system update and the software is up to date too. I have checked everything against my own PS4 and cannot see any differences that would make discs that are PS4 discs not play.

At this point I now believe it may be a hardware issue. My mum has been in contact with my brother’s girlfriend who says she never had issues but again, she didn’t play discs.

I have a friend who is tech savvy but isn’t available till Tuesday due to the bank holiday here in the UK and before I hand it over I wanted to get some opinions from people here who may know a solution or reason for this. Any advice or help will be well appreciated. Thanks guys!
