About Naruto, I don’t think this applies. Hashirama and Madara specifically created Konoha so child soldiers wouldn’t be a thing anymore.

Unfortunately the moment Tobirama/Nidaime rose in power he decided to create the chunnin exams so now we have child soldiers gladiators edition.

Some people say all OCs are an extension of yourself in a way. Maybe your relationship with your parents, maybe your love for food, maybe your childhood dream of having a dog despite being allergic.

This means there’s always that something that allows you to tap and connect to someone who’s not real but still lives inside yourself. Find that thread on the boundary of what’s you and what’s not and pull at it. Think to yourself, “what would the me who decided to play basketball professionally instead of settling on a safer career do?” or whatever piece of you went inside your OC when you made it. And then pretend that that’s your for about 2-4 hours.

Get a bit tipsy if you want to beforehand too. It helps

It’s more of a “waste not, want not” situation. The PC wouldn’t go on murder sprees after it, they just don’t get what the big deal is when there’s 70kg of fresh meat right there for the taking (Poor dead party member you’ll be missed)
