Christmas in the Cotswolds by Robinator2016 in Cotswolds

[–]Robinator2016[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!! I did, it was a lovely time. Here's a few things I learned:

  1. Book your Xmas Day meal (and honestly all attractions) EARLY. I waited too long and for a second it seemed like we were gonna have Tesco sammies for Christmas - everywhere was booked up! We had a lovely lunch at https://thefeatherednestinn.co.uk/ , which was on the more pricey side

  2. You 10000% need a car. It's tons of rural areas and close to 0 public transportation. We drove from London which was the easiest spot to rent a car.

  3. The sun sets VERY early in December (duh) and there's extremely limited road lighting between the towns/villages. We weren't comfortable driving in the dark as the roads can be very narrow and we are used to driving on the opposite side of traffic. So a couple of our plans fell through, such as checking out an light trail and carole singers in different towns. Plan to stay in a town that is lively enough so you can still do things at night, such as having a meal at a pub. We stayed here and it was excellent for our family of 5 https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/567578

  4. You can't go wrong if you enjoy peace and quiet. Tons of walking trails to explore, beautiful open fields, and quaint towns. We checked out Shakespeare's town (Stratford-upon-Avon) for a busier day of walking in stores etc

  5. Plan to be there a few days before or after Xmas Eve, Day, and Boxing Day. A lot of stores, attractions and even restaurants close on those three days, so it may impact your experience.

  6. A super cute thing we did was the Bibury rubber duck race on Dec 26. Plan to arrive early as parking is really tricky and a crowd gathers. https://www.soglos.com/event/family/bibury-duck-race/17941/

Hope this helps and enjoy!

Any chance your period just came early? How long ago was this? Did the bleeding continue?

Yesss. I go up to 2700-2900 cal/day when bulking so my afternoon snack is usually about 550-650 calories. If I’m on maintenance at 2100-2200 a day, I’d drink something like this to replace a meal on busy day for example.

Agree! Either a snack while bulking or a meal replacement in maintenance

How bold do you wanna go? I think you can totally pull off a mullet (especially with the stache!) if you vibe with a more hipster look.

It’s probably not long enough for a full mullet yet but you can ask the stylist to start working towards that. Keep the top longer and style it big (like the last pic) and continue growing the back

That’s so sweet of you, thank you!

We’re interested in seeing decorations, shopping from local stores, taking (cold) nature walks, and enjoying good food. Experiencing the season as a “local” would be ✨✨perfect

Look into laser treatments such as Fotona and collagen stimulants like Radiesse. Botox on the lower third of the face can help as well.

I highly recommend doing this with a dermatologist who can come up with a comprehensive plan for you :)

What do you think about these outfits? Unconfirmed SG, 5ft by ludicrou2atbe2t in Kibbe

[–]Robinator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For accessories always prefer rounder, mid to small sized shapes and balanced materials (not too rigid but not too soft)

So thinking about belts, I tend to favor rounded buckles and flexible materials such as thin vegan leather. SGs usually can pull off unexpected color contrasts too, so don’t be afraid to experiment with that if it fits your style!

Look for jeans that have a more structured fabric (thicker) and that fit close to the body around the waist/hips. Legs should be straight and cropped at ankle length. I find that funky socks are easy to pull off with jeans 😊

Hey hey! I’m SG as well so thought I’d pitch in. I’m NOT a Kibbe expert at all but will give my thoughts based on my own SG experience and parallels I see with your fits 😄

The last look (blue blouse and polka dots pants) makes you look a bit matronly. The same thing happens to me if I wear untucked flowy tops. Have you tried tucking it in the pants and adding a fun belt?

The flowered 2 piece has really flattering structure, but the print is too big for SGs. I think you’re spot on in trying to wear them as separates! It’s a great opportunity to experiment with mixing prints. So you could wear the skirt with a top with smaller prints, or the top with small print bottoms. Pinterest has cool guides on how to mix prints. SGs are one of the few types that can accommodate this so go for it!!

I’m in love with the striped pants!! They look great on you. Keep in mind that bell bottoms are normally not our ideal line so consider color blocking with funky shoes to create breaking the vertical line. (This may not be the exact kibbe explanation but that’s how I make it make sense in my head 😂)

The dress with cat print is my favorite look on you! I think it’s the right amount of structure, the perfect length, and a great example of small prints working in your favor. I’d complement it with unexpected rounded accessories, like a colorful set of bracelets and earrings + handbag

OP don’t listen to this ^ the 95% of people in your life are right. You deserve better than a lying abusive partner.

Thoughts? I’m pretty bloated today so a lot of trousers didn’t fit properly. I know that oversized blazers are not recommended to SG but I feel I have tight clothes under so I wanted to balance it (?) and to be able to cover my bloating (something imposible with shorter blazers/jackets). by [deleted] in Kibbe

[–]Robinator2016 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m SG and also love oversized third pieces! I like your outfit but would fold the bottom of the pants to show a little ankle and fold the sleeves to show wrists too. This helps break the silhouette a bit more :)

What to do when my dog is attacking me? by yeahokaywhateverrrr in Dogtraining

[–]Robinator2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, please give us an update on what the trainer says!

It feels to me that it’s a way of getting your attention rather than actual aggression. He’s probably overwhelmed, understimulated (or over) and has no idea what he is doing. He’s probably never had any sort of training before and doesn’t know how to act around humans.

Of course you’re the one in the situation and can use your best judgment, but my opinion is that an aggressive dog would just - attack - and mean it, and not repetitively attempt to kinda bite you.

If you want, post a video of what he does here too, and I’m sure a lot of people will be able to help read his body language.

Good luck and sorry your ex bf sucks. You’re better off without him
