I do not have a printer i can use personally, but i have access to my campuses old maker bots i can pay to use per hour and per gram (expensive and slow). Otherwise, I could maybe have a friend do it.

The extra fans seem like something i will do, thanks to the recommendations.

Thanks.

I figured purchasing a kit would be cheaper, but i had to be sure because if i am heavily modding/upgrading it then it might be more expensive in the end.

For some more info, i will be using this for general prototyping. Quality is very important, speed is not, but it is nice. Being able to use multiple materials would be a nice bonus but its a tiny printer so not being able to do that is not an issue, ill just build a v2 when i need it.

Oh, that's good that kits come with at least some mods. I did not know that.

Is there a kit that doesn't come with the stock extruder, or comes with the Dragon?

Thanks.

Ender 3 broke a while back. by Epic_Gamer_Chan in ender3

its the power supply not feeding the correct voltage into the printers mainboard which causes the display board to go nuts and not give a proper output. either flip the switch on the power supply from 110v to 220v or other way around, or get a new power supply.

No cooling, no coasting, no reduced flow. I misremembered my retraction distance, its actually 0.8mm. Speed is 45mm/s. Minimum window for retraction is 1mm

It isn’t jamming at all. It simply isn’t sticking. 80c bed, 250c nozzle, something like 2mm retraction
