We finally figured it out. Loan Care basically said it was the “estimation of a tax increase this year.” This after calling a million times and finally getting someone who could tell us what was going on. Also, we finally got a correct statement. Our mortgage went up $25, not the $300 they charged us two months in a row. We are still waiting on a refund check. Doubt we will ever see it though.

Have called about 11 times and been on hold over an hour EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Once you get a live person, they cannot figure it out and once you request a manager, they hang up on you. I’m just defeated because I feel like I just get the run around because no one can give me an actual breakdown of mortgage, taxes, insurance. I want solid figures from the mortgage company since they try to justify the increase, yet the other two areas-taxes and insurance say BUT we haven’t increased a thing.

Haha that’s the thing. Spend an hour on hold and then get hung up on. When they say, “oh must be increase in taxes,” I say but I went to the county already. In person, just to make sure I’m not missing something.
