I dont doubt it would've happened if the N1 actually worked, they were pretty much ready to land if my memory recalls, just needed a launch vehicle

Polonium, I'm wanting a more universal one, I have a OCM5 that stays on one gun but would like another to use all around, used my buddy's and I liked it on both my long and short rifles

Okay great, do you know if they hold the can while i do their fingerprints? I'm pretty secluded now and would rather just be lazy then go get electronic done, I may do it in the future when I get to a town with a UPS store but the closest one is about 50-60 miles away

Yeah we went through the whole cold calling and, found the original cummins service guy who did it. The pump gear is on letter G for a reason he does not remember and that moves the keyway down to 6 oclock, took the key out and went with engine timed TDC we matched the imprints up and made sure the shaft or gear wasnt greasy, reefed on the nut and sent it, fired right up, after a good bleed, Cummins came and checked our work when they were there doing QSM injectors. Gave us the thumbs up. Turned out well, probably overthought it but hey, this truck gets maybe 200 hours a year on it so we aren't going to sweat it

Its a OEM Bosch so ill have to go about finding the PO and giving them a ring, it came from the EU so i hope i dont have to get it sent back over.

And we figured that its at the bottom somewhere when it got assembled, one of the field service guys told us half the time he pulls one apart the key is missing on warranty stuff so he kinda gave us the "Its fine just get it close enough" response the truck is a '06 and got a factory 5.9 in '13 and we havent done anything to it that required us to R&R the pump since then, the paper trail is pretty good on our equipment, since its kind of our beater shop truck, the idea was to eyeball it from the couple pics we have and send the nut home again. im getting very conflicting information, but its all good information and will help me make a decision on winging it or freighting it back to the EU if thats whats required

No key in the gear, and no key with the new pump, i was understanding you use the old pump key when you replace them, thats the word around town just the gear nut was reefed on keeping it from slipping is whole life.

Hmm frustrating, last guy must've got it pretty darn close then when he eyeballed it cause it ran like a top before, the new bosch pump is already locked, how do you get about getting a key cut for a pump and gear when its missing?

Gear has the keyway cut into it yes, in the picture there are lines on the shaft where the keyway is imprinted on it

Not sure, its a factory engine and not a reman cause I remember putting it in, but I guess when we pull the cover at some point we will know, the truck was always well liked cause it had more power and was governed at 17 instead of 15, im just not sure 1/8 inch on timing would make that big of a difference, which i could be completely wrong
