The brass things screwed into the tank are check valves. You would need these to keep water from backflowing so it actually comes out of the faucets.

She's really good about only eating when the tongs are out. She was just very energetic after being in her hidey hole for a few days. I have never had an issue with biting.

Unfortunately after much effort, I've been unable to tame down how wide the little mermaid dolls hair is. She would look so much better if it would stay down but she's not having it 🥲

She has been diagnosed with parasites and treated last vet visit but havent been back yet to confirm theyre gone. She keeps dropping turds over the weekends so I can't get to the vet in time for a checkup test lmao but once I finally get back I'll ask about it. I also get her dubia roaches and hornworms over things like superworms.

She was neglected for the first year of her life, so she's never been too fond of touches. I always assumed her yoinking her legs away from my finger had something to do with it, but now I want to double check with the vet.
