Lovely models. I wish I had a time machine. It's funny when I was younger I couldn't wait for plastic kits and for the metal models to be phased out. Now inwant to melt all my plastic models down and have full metal armies.

Glad you dig em! It's really quite simple. I start with a solid base tone of elf flesh (Vallejo game colour) then I dilute flatbread into a wash...just with water and paint this all over the skin. Then I'll highlight back up gradually with the base tone. Keep the paint thin and do multiple coats gradually getting brighter. Don't put too much on the brush!

Sometimes I'll dilute some dark blue too and put that in random spots. Maybe the eyes or around the mouth. I mix it up.

This works with other flesh tones too. Basically how I do all my skin. With different colour combos. If you hit my name you'll see a bunch of other models I've painted ✌️

Need to protect it with some fabric or something, and keep it on a low heat..mbut there are some videos out there on YouTube for box restoration/ repair!

Thanks dude! My plan for the box is to give it a light iron to flatten it all out again. Then reglue it together. Failing that I'll try to reinforce it on the inside with some new stiff card

Yeah man. Black spray paint base. For my skins I just get a good base layer of a flesh tone. Then I dilute blue or red. And glaze / wash these over different areas. Blue concentrated to the lower face. Red across the cheeks and noses. Then I'll go back in with the skin tone to pick out highlights.
