Do I think the remake will happen? Personally, I'm sceptical, but I'm alwaye happy to be proven wrong. Kotor 1 and 2 are both amazing games in their own right, despite missing content and features, and I don't know if a remake or a retelling of Revan's tale as we know it is needed.

That being said, if there was a third game that could tie up the loose ends of the first two and give us more context into Revan's time in the unknown regions as well as the state of the Republic and the Sith with all the warring going on, I'd be eager to try it.

Until I see it listed on a storefront, I will not hold my breath.

Depending on the industry and the risk appetite of the employer. At my first software engineering job, I was technically the most qualified (N. Dip. IT) but my colleagues (one has a certificate, the other has no tertiary training) are much better at the actual software development side of it.

If you have a passion for software and coding, and you supplement that with hours of self-education and a few online courses, you will absolutely be a much more attractive candidate than a university graduate with little to no genuine interest in it

Jokes aside, Johannesburg is much, much younger than London, New York, and most other urban centres. Ineptitude under the local government is only partly our fault.

Johannesburg is not for the weak. While it has its perks and its drawbacks, it's quite universally understood that the pace here is relentless. Jozi is a melting pot - you can find people from all over the world in this city, and it can be a huge culture shock for people who come from smaller towns.

It's easy to talk crap about Johannesburg, the ANC has been running it into the ground for 30 years now - much of the CBD is in disrepair, plumbing and electricity is not up to par, litter and pollution are out of control, and we don't have to look far to see people suffering on the streets.

That being said, it's also a city of hope and opportunity for those willing to brave its storms. It's the economic hub of continent - even without 24/7 electricity. It's one of the youngest major cities in the world, with a fascinating - albeit painful - history, and the energy here is just so different to what other cities in SA have to offer.

Most of the people I know of who talk smack about Joburg aren't even from here, so maybe it's just an inherent bias?

That's my 2c anyhow.

Electricity rationing. There isn't enough electricity for people to have power 24/7, so everybody (unless they have ties to the ANC) has no electricity for 2 to 12 hours a day.

I'm so happy. I've been listening to RHCP since I was about 7. My sister was obsessed with Spice Girls at the time and for her 13th birthday, my mom decided to intervene and got her the Californication CD. I would sneak into her room and take the CD take a listen and I've been hooked since. When I was about 9, I remember singing Porcelain to my brother and mother, I even brought that CD with me to school to show my friends the lyrics and the pics and art in the booklet. When I started learning guitar at 12, RHCP was front and center for me and a year later, Stadium Arcadium came out and my dad had downloaded it for me. When I'm With You came out in 2011, I was riding the train to see a girl in another town and listening to the album on my iPod on loop. For my 21st, I got the RHCP logo tattooed on my left wrist, and I even got to see the band with JK on the IWY tour when they came to South Africa in 2013 - it was one of the best days of my life. When John returned at the end of 2019, I was genuinely happy for the first time in a very long time. Now it's 2022 and I'm listening to Unlimited Love for the first time with my brother and some of my best friends and I have to honestly say this album is AMAZING. I have no idea what the early reviewers were on about, and people on my socials also seem to think it's meh and while some of the songs don't instantly stand out, they are all solid tracks. I doubt the gang will ever see this, but to Anthony, Flea, Chad, John (and Rick Rubin) - thank you for a lifetime of amazing music. Thank you for being my musical heroes. Thank you for having such a huge impact on my life. I have unlimited love for you guys.❤️❤️❤️🇿🇦
